Travel to the Cíes Islands during the week every day of December with Naviera Nabia
This December, the shipping company Nabia offers a unique experience for those who wish to say goodbye to the year in an unforgettable way: daily trips to the Cíes Islands an emblematic destination in the Vigo estuary.
Enjoying the paradise of one of the islands of the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands in the middle of winter has become a tempting reality for many visitors to the area. With two daily departures, except on December 24, 25 and 31, the company offers the opportunity to explore the wonders of the Cíes Islands, weather permitting.
The trips will include guided tours for national and local tourists, giving them the opportunity to discover the famous Rhodes Beach or hike any of the 4 hiking trails offered by the island.
Following the success of the excursions made during the summer, the company emphasizes that “the Cíes Islands are a very popular destination, and with the arrival of the Christmas in Vigo we have decided to offer trips during the week so that no one misses the opportunity to visit this paradise, even on weekdays”.
As a special touch to bid farewell to the year, on December 31, when there are no regular departures to the Islands, the shipping company will offer a special New Year’s Eve route. Passengers will have the opportunity to celebrate pre-Champanadas and enjoy the traditional 12 lucky grapes in a unique and spectacular setting.
Tickets are on sale on the shipping company’s website or you can call 986 32 00 48 and reserve your place. The company even offers a discount code “25PIRATES” to be used through its website.
Increase in the number of visitors on the regular Moaña-Vigo line.
The regular maritime transport between Moaña and Vigohas noticed an increase in the number of passengers during the last weeks after the December long weekend.
“We offer an ideal alternative for those visitors who want to enjoy Christmas and the lights of Vigo without having to deal with the hassle of parking their vehicle in the city of Vigo,” says the shipping company spokeswoman.
In response to growing demand, the shipping line has adjusted its schedules to offer passengers more options. Monday through Saturday schedules will remain unchanged, while Sundays and holidays will have an increased frequency. Departures will be scheduled every hour from 15:00 to 22:00 hours from the port of Cangas, and from 15:30 to 22:30 hours from the port of Vigo.
With these modifications, the shipping company seeks to facilitate access to Vigo’s Christmas life, providing travelers with a convenient and efficient option to explore the city during this festive season.
