What are the tears of San Lorenzo?
Every summer, between August 10 and 20, the Earth crosses the wake of comet Swift-Tuttle, generating one of the most spectacular meteor showers of the year.
The Perseids reach their peak during the nights of August 12 and 13, and in areas without light pollution, dozens of shooting stars can be seen every hour.
