On December 31st, at Piratas de Nabia we propose a very special experience to celebrate New Year’s Eve in the Vigo estuary: the Pre-Campanadas in the Cíes Islands, an original plan that combines nature, tradition, party and emotion in the heart of the Maritime-Terrestrial National Park of the Atlantic Islands of Galicia.

A magical morning in the Cíes Islands
The experience will begin with the departure from the port of Vigo at 11:00 am, heading to the Cíes Islands aboard one of the catamarans of our shipping company Piratas de Nabia. During the crossing, passengers will be able to enjoy the navigation along the estuary and the views of the archipelago in one of the calmest times of the year.
Once on the island, we will take a short guided tour, ideal to learn about the history, curiosities and natural values of the Cíes in winter, when the environment is at its wildest and most authentic.
Rhodes Beach Ritual
One of the most special moments of this experience will be the farewell ritual at Rhodes Beach, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. A symbolic act designed to leave behind what has been lived during the year and start the new cycle with positive energy, in full connection with nature and the sea.

The 12 grapes … on board and with a party
After the visit to the island, the celebration continues on board the catamaran. During the return trip, the most awaited moment will take place: the eating of the 12 grapes, anticipating the chimes in a festive and relaxed atmosphere.

The return to the port of Vigo is scheduled at 13:45 h, leaving the afternoon free to continue celebrating New Year’s Eve with family or friends.
