Commitment to sustainable tourism: from A Pobra to the Atlantic Islands

At Piratas de Nabia we are committed to the respect and conservation of the natural environment. That is why we are excited to be part of A Pobra do Caramiñal ‘s initiative to promote sustainable tourism in the region.

The Council of A Pobra, in collaboration with our company, has launched new routes to the Parque Nacional Marítimo-Terrestre das Illas Atlánticas de Galicia, a natural paradise that includes the Cíes Islands, the Island of Ons and the Island of Sálvora.

These routes are done in sustainable boats and have specialized guides who accompany visitors through tours that combine the enjoyment of nature with learning about the flora, fauna and history of the park.

This proposal not only offers a unique experience, but also supports the conservation of these protected areas.

Sustainable tourism departures from A Pobra do Caramiñal

Throughout the year, our company will offer 6 special Sustainable Tourism departures from A Pobra do Caramiñal so that locals and visitors can explore these natural sites without leaving a trace in the environment.

In addition, the routes are accessible to all ages, with rates ranging from 30 € for adults to 18 € for children under 12 years old.

  • Cíes Islands: 29th of June and 7th of September
  • Ons Island: July 27th and August 10th
  • Sálvora Island: 20th of July and 23rd of August

The project is part of the Tourism Sustainability Plan Barbanza Arousa. Journey through the flavors”, supported by the Xunta de Galicia.

This initiative seeks to foster the development of responsible tourism, promoting both sustainable mobility and respect for the region’s natural and cultural heritage.

With each trip, we not only discover the beauty of the Atlantic Islands, but also contribute to their protection.

We invite you to be part of this ecological adventure!

Join our routes, enjoy Galician nature and help preserve one of the most impressive environments in Galicia.
